Dr. Colleen Kristofor grew up in Philadelphia and was inspired to become an orthodontist when she had braces as a teenager. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at St. Joseph's University. Dr. Colleen then moved to Chicago to attend Northwestern University Dental School for her Doctor of Dental Science degree, graduating with honors. She received the American Society of Dentistry for Children's Merit Certificate for outstanding interest and proficiency in children's dentistry upon graduation. Dr. Colleen continued her two-year specialty training in orthodontics at Northwestern University, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology and a certificate in Orthodontics.

Her professional affiliations include the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Colleen keeps current with the latest advances in orthodontics by attending frequent continuing education seminars. She has provided dental care for the underserved in remote areas of Peru & Honduras and looks forward to participating in future mission trips.

During her free time, you may find Dr. Colleen on or near Lake Michigan. She enjoys sailboat racing, running and adventure racing
