 AgieAs an orthodontic assistant, I enjoy working hands-on with our patients and seeing the end result and the smile on their face after they are done with treatment. I've worked in the orthodontic field for 5 years and with Get It Straight Orthodontics since 2004. I'm a native of Illinois and volunteer for the sub of Berwyn where I live. I look forward to helping you achieve your perfect smile!  AllaI'm Alla, and I've been an orthodontic assistant at Get It Straight Orthodontics since 1997. I've been in the field of orthodontics since 1992, mainly because it is so rewarding and I meet such wonderful people. I enjoy seeing patients everyday and sharing stories with them! Our office is a great place to work, and I feel fortunate to have such wonderful coworkers. I am a native of Russia and have been in the U.S. since 1989. Before coming to the U.S. I was a teacher in Russia for 15 years. When I'm not busy at the office, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, and dancing!  AnnLearning new technology and starting patients from the beginning of their treatment to the end are my favorite things about orthodontics. Our patients are great, and since they deserve the best, that is what they get when they come to the office. They are all a joy, and I love getting to know them. Prior to orthodontics, I worked in general dentistry for 20 years. I've been in orthodontics since 2004 and with Get It Straight Orthodontics since 2007. My duties include coordinating treatment and marketing the office. I am a native of Chicago and have lived in Vernon Hills since 1992. Outside of work, I enjoy gourmet cooking, baking, entering recipe contests, walking outdoors on our nature trails, spending time with family and friends, dining out at new restaurants, and wine tasting with my husband, Jeff. A fun fact about me: I love music, especially The British Rock Invasion of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. In my past, I was an avid concert goer!  ChrisWorking in the field of orthodontics is so rewarding. I love being a part of giving a patient a beautiful smile, and I appreciate the friendships I develop over the course of my patients' treatment. As the Imaging Specialist, you'll see me focusing on maintaining patient records, overseeing SureSmile treatments and acting as an Orthodontic Assistant. Be sure to say hello next time you see me! I love how dramatically orthodontics affects a person's smile and demeanor. Every time we take braces off of a patient, their eyes light up and I just know we've help to change their life for the better. Working at Get It Straight has allowed me to meet incredible people – our patients are all very friendly and fun! Chicago is the place I call home, and I recently attended Northeastern Illinois University. I love to read and bike around the city. Outside of the office, you may find me walking my very cute Pomeranian, that I call EiEi.  IreneI've been an orthodontic assistant with Get It Straight Orthodontics since 1998. My favorite thing about orthodontics is learning new things, such as being at the forefront of new technology. Also, my patients are the highlight of my day because they trust me to work in their mouths so they can have a great smile! In my free time, I love scuba diving with my husband, Bikram Yoga, and the pottery wheel! Some interesting facts you might not know: I went diving with sharks and camped with crocodiles! I am a clinical assistant, and my favorite thing about orthodontics is the technical work and science of it all. I love seeing the transformation through the course of treatment and the satisfaction on patients' faces when they see their results. I love impacting someone's life by making them more comfortable about their smile and improving their confidence. I love seeing smiles on my patients' faces when they realize that the pain is temporary, but the end results are permanent! Also, I appreciate and enjoy the many stories I hear from my patients. I am a native of the Philippines and have lived in Chicago since 1994. Outside of work, I like to run, swim, and bike. I have participated in triathlons and marathons, volunteer for PAWS Chicago, and do art exhibits around Chicago. I bet you didn't know that apart from my passion for straight teeth, I also count being a painter as one of my true callings.  KarlWhat makes orthodontics so great is the fact that it works! The transformation from beginning to end is amazing, and seeing our patients smile is a great reward each day. I am the laboratory manager and have been with Get It Straight Orthodontics since 2003. We are a great, efficient, fun team and my coworkers and our patients make it a pleasure to come to work each day. Our patients put their faith in us when it comes to a perfect smile, and we deliver! I am a native of Wales and have lived in Chicago since 2003. Outside of work, I enjoy golf, running, and reading. Bet you didn't know: I am a poet Lauriet in my native Wales.  LariI have been an orthodontic assistant at Get It Straight since 2008. My favorite thing about orthodontics is a nice bright smile and knowing that I helped create that smile! I am a native of Chicago, and I am currently attending Illinois Institute of Art, studying for a BA in digital filmmaking and video production. I love listening to music and watching the Cubs play. I love my job because I am able to influence positive change through transforming smiles! We treat so many diverse cases and it is great to always see the final outcome. Our patients are wonderful and I love being able to get to know them. I am originally a native of Poland and Arizona and have lived in Chicago since 2005. Outside of work I enjoy traveling, camping, and hiking. I like attending various concerts and opera productions in Chicago, and I am a supporter of choral activities at the University of Chicago. I also volunteer in the Department of Mammalogy at the Field Museum and am presently applying to dental school. My favorite part of orthodontics is seeing the amazing results: The before and after pictures are unbelievable! I love numbers, so insurance billing is a great fit for me. Here you'll find me helping you to coordinate your insurance as well as doing other Office Manager duties. I really enjoy seeing how happy our patient's are with their end results. Since the orthodontists here are always taking and teaching classes, it's very interesting to see and learn all the latest technology in orthodontics. I just love our family-like atmosphere. I love everyone I work with and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each of our patients. I'm a native of Chicago, but I've lived in Mundelein since 2007. Outside of the office I love to read, go shopping, play Mah Jongg, and travel. I'm also a member of Hadassah, where I volunteer with other women. Bet you didn't know: I am the mother hen of the office and I keep everyone in line!  SheliaI've been with Get It Straight Orthodontics since 1981, where I currently work as the Office Manager. My favorite thing about orthodontics is working with my hands, starting out with a patient then seeing the finished result, feeling that you had a hand or part in making the patient get to the result they were looking for. Of course, the interaction with the patients is my favorite par of the job. Being the Office Manager allows me to meet a lot of people from various backgrounds. Sometimes we have the privilege of shaping their children's smiles as well! Our patients are very wise with the kind of treatment they are seeking. Most of the time they have done the research and are fully aware of the type of braces they want. I've lived in Chicago all my l life. Outside of the office I love to take walks, go bike riding, and take trips with my family!
